The Earth Center - Shifting Towards Fall Season
Today marks the halfway point between the Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere. Believe it or not, we’re at the declining half of the summer season. It’s a powerful time of year for transition and also an opportunity to take inventory on our energy, resources, and abundance before the season changes. The last few weeks of summer and early weeks of fall are considered the harvest time. It’s time to collect, enjoy, and store the fruits, vegetables, and goods that we’ve worked so hard to grow all year. The summer to fall transition can be the hardest transition of the year because we’re moving from the biggest and expansive season to an inward and slower season.
Summer Solstice - Full Expansion
Happy Summer Solstice for everyone in the Northern Hemisphere! Welcome to the most yang, masculine, extroverted, and expansive day of the year. It is also the longest day and shortest night of the year! You may have already noticed increased activity and movement within your household, neighborhood, and city. Everyone is on the move! Even the birds and animals are frolicking about. We’ve finally reached the peak energy of the year. All the plans we set into motion last year are finally put into action. There is intensity in the air and a thrill to get outside and enjoy the abundant blooming elements around us.
Summer Begins - The Heart Emperor’s Fire
According to the Lunisolar calendar, summer energy begins today for the Northern Hemisphere. We’re at the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice! From this day until we reach the Summer Solstice, we will experience the expansive energy in the elements around us and also within us. All that has been confined and camouflaged in the previous seasons will now reach the surface and take center stage. The moving currents of the spring winds have generated enough upward force to create the summer heat that we need for the Summer Solstice.
